Ascott opens 1st Ascott-branded serviced residence in Surabay, Indonesia – Ascott Waterplace Surabaya

The Ascott Limited (Ascott) has clinched a management contract to open its first Ascott-branded serviced residence in Surabaya in 2014 to become the company’s 10th property in Indonesia.  The premier 181-apartment  Ascott Waterplace Surabaya will be the company’s third property in Surabaya, joining Citadines Marvell Surabaya and Somerset Surabaya Hotel & Serviced Residence, and reinforcing Ascott’s position as the largest international serviced residence owner-operator in Indonesia, with more than 2,200 apartment units across 10 properties.

The management contract for Ascott Waterplace Surabaya is awarded to Ascott by the Pakuwon Group, one of the largest real estate developers in Indonesia.
