• We’ve added 65 new properties in the last month, including Escazu Apartments in San Jose, Costa Rica, and apartments in several new districts worldwide including Goodge Street and Warren Street in London, Oud-Zuid in Amsterdam and Tsentralnyy in St Petersburg.
• Paddy Hegan, our Partner Relations & Rates Manager – International, travels the world to meet property partners and source new locations. He recently returned from a month-long trip to India and the Middle East: he viewed properties in Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Delhi, then in Qatar, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
• This month he’s visiting several cities in the US and Canada: Boston, New York, Malvern, Seattle, Vancouver and San Francisco. Principal Account Managers Serena Dines and Joanna Cross will join him in New York.
• 20 members of staff attended this year’s Business Travel Awards – one of the most important awards ceremonies in the industry. SilverDoor has been shortlisted for the Best Serviced Apartment Provider award
• We see these events as a valuable opportunity to catch up and share ideas with people we work with in the business travel and serviced apartment industries, as well as the business travel press.
