The Edinburgh Collection, a portfolio of hotels and serviced apartments located in the heart of Edinburgh, is excited to announce the launch of our first photo competition #VisitEd to promote Scottish heritage and Homecoming Scotland 2014.

The Edinburgh Collection is calling on anyone with a camera and enthusiasm to shoot a selfie next to a Scottish landmark, local object descended from Scotland, your favourite Scottish food or drink or anything else that makes you think of Scotland – be creative! Our aim is to showcase Scottish heritage around the world and award the most creative entry with a two night stay in Edinburgh at an Edinburgh Collection hotel. Moreover the winner’s photograph would be visible on The Edinburgh Collection’s website and social media platforms for the duration of 2014.

How to Enter: Email, tweet, Instagram your selfie with the hashtag #VisitEd plus a description of the location and the hotel you would like to spend your winning nights at! The contest will be judged by The Edinburgh Collection judging panel and the most creative images will be selected after the closing date and put forward to a public vote; the photo which receives the most votes will win our top prize.

The Deadline: The closing date for entries is 1^st April 2014.
