UK SERVICED APARTMENTS – STRONG QUARTER 3 PERFORMANCE

 The Association of Serviced Apartment Providers (ASAP) has confirmed that quarter 3 has been the best performing quarter of the year so far.  September proved to be the best month for London operators with average occupancy of 90%, closely followed by July with 88% and August at 87%.  (Dec 14, 2012)

The average net weekly rental rate in London was £1214 which showed a very healthy increase on the previous quarter of £1125 (an increase of 8%).

For the rest of the asapUK the average overall occupancy for the third quarter was 85% with July   recording the strongest occupancy of 88%.   The average net weekly rental rate for the regions grew to £655, an increase of 5% on the previous quarter of £622.

Membership of the Association of Serviced Apartment Providers (ASAP) has grown significantly in the last 2 years to 56 members across the UK and Ireland representing in excess of 12,000 apartments.   The ASAP is holding its third annual Serviced Apartment Conference & Exhibition on 6 December in London.  Over 200 delegates are now registered to attend, with keen interest in the extensive seminar programme which includes some speakers from overseas for the first time, giving members an insight into operations in the sector in different regions of the world.  Members also appreciate the opportunity to meet with the 14 key suppliers exhibiting at the event.
